I wanted to put some tropical and warm pictures on Day 5, although, I'm getting anxious for an upcoming trip so imagine pictures of Hawaii, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo but then imagine flying to Florida with 3 kids. At least I'll have lots of help. In the end, it will be worth seeing these folks.
This will be my 3rd time to Disneyworld. How lucky am I? My first trip was when I was in College at good old UVSC. I was on the DEX team and we made it to Nationals which was held in sunny Orlando. Mike and I were dating at the time, almost engaged. It was so much fun hanging with College friends. And the best part, I think I only paid $100 for a week long vacation. The school paid for everything else. I have some really great pictures of our adventures in Orlando but can't find them. For now all I have are memories, including walking and walking and walking trying to find our hotel after eating breakfast. Lunch at Rainforest Cafe. Sitting on the curb at Disneyworld eating ice-cream. These crazy Orlando shirts and of course the DEX competition itself. The next year, I talked Mike and his brother Dan into competing on DEX and we went to Louisville. Good times. Back to Day 5.Kinzee, Beckie, Becky, Andra and Julie--not sure where lobster is? Or Julie for that matter.
2nd time to Orlando, my film got destroyed by the scanners at the airport security and not a single picture came out. Mike and I went alone. Jack had just barely turned 1 and I left my 2 babies with Grama and Grampa and off we went to Orlando for a Del Monte Foods convention. The hotel was amazing, the books I read were fantastic and although everyone was drinking and probably doesn't remember the company trip, we had a great time. I went to Epcot while Mike was in meetings, then later in the week we went to Universal Studios and Disneyworld and had a great time. Although, I'll admit I missed the kids and am so excited we get to go again.

I celebrated my 21st birthday in Orlando!! That trip was a blast. Louisville was fun too! I still have the little baseball bat from the Louisville Slugger museum.
You always look so tan! I'd be counting down the days too... sounds like fun. There is usually a CE in Disneyworld around November, I'm hoping we make it one of these years. It's out for 2011, but i think it'd be a good excuse to visit in the future. I bet the kids are super excited too. Will you do Epcot? I thought that was a pretty cool place, but I can't remember if there was much for kids to do.
Definitely wish we could be there with you! Maybe we'll have to go to the "local" one with Bill and Steph. This year I think the memories are going to be especially sweet for you, because the kids are getting older and you'll have a lot of hands to help so you can go on the big rides, too. It is coming so quick!
Oh, no! I just added up the days -are you going to be gone when Eric is blessed?
Oh I love Orlando! We went there 4 years in a row starting in 6th grade. My dad had business there, so we got to go! Such a fun place! A couple weeks after I got married, we went on a Disney Cruise with my parents & brother. That was the last time I've been to Orlando. Bet it's changed a ton since then.
Gotta love the overall shorts btw!! :)
We were in Orlando last year with Sarah's kids. Fun times!! Just a word of warning--pack some of those cheapo rain jacket--we sloshed through a downpour in Feb. in Disney World. But it sure cut the lines down, so the kids could ride as much as they wanted. And my favorite?? Epcot definitely. No thrilling rides, but fascinating stuff there! Have fun!
35 days? I am JEALOUS.
I love Disneyland.. and if I want to go there so bad this year I can hardly stand it.
LOVE the overalls. lol! I had some like it.. and thought they were sooo cool!
My friend just came back from Disneyworld and has been posting about it and now I really want to go. I went once, but my kids haven't been. I never cared to take them since we do Disneyland so often, but now I remember that I loved Epcot and I really want to see Harry Potter World. It looks so fun! I can't wait to hear about your trip.
I love Disney World!! I went with drill team every year and wish I could go back so bad! Epcot was the best! Jealous, have so much fun!!!
