Day 29-learned?

Day 29-In this past month, what have you learned?

  • I sometimes feel like a dog or a child learning new things. I love encouragment, praise and comments on my blog. When I receive encouragement, I continue to wag my tail and give you my leg to shake. When I receive praise, I continue to do well and work hard. And when I receive comments on my blog, it makes me want to blog more. Thanks for the encouragement, your kind thoughts and of course your comments.

  • I've learned how dirty a house can get when Momma gets sick with a sinus infection. I've slightly tackled it but it's dirty again. Oh well, a friend once said that her house had the "lived in look" and mine definitely does. Especially today the office, still has tax papers everywhere.

  • I've learned how grateful I am for antibiotics. 4 out of 5 of us have been using them this month.

  • I've learned I can live on less and still have plenty to go around.

  • I've learned that I sit at the computer a lot. Doing this 30 challenge increased how much I sit and "waste" time.

  • I've have a lot of great friends and am glad to keep up with some of them even by just reading about them on blogs or via facebook. So sometimes, it's okay to "waste" time if I'm learning new things.

  • I've learned I am not a dieter. I enjoy food too much.

  • I'm excited for Florida!

  • I'm grateful for a tax return that's helping me be able to "breath" again.

  • My kids spend way to much time playing their DS. Jack especially, he's even taught Lexi to play. And sorry Camille but the girls love to play also.

  • We have participated in the Nielson's TV Diary and I've noticed since we have our new TV, we watch way to much TV.

  • Love, Love, Love my family and any time I get to see them. I didn't realize how much I missed seeing them for Sunday dinners or during lunch or just a visit. Being in Utah is fabulous!

Ha ha ha!! I love the first thing you have learned! That's so true! I'm so that way too! Thanks for pointing out that I learned something new too!!

Sorry you guys have been so sick. Not fun! Spring will be here soon!

I sit at the computer a ton too. Too much. I have been working on this, but it's a hard one. I have no self control when it comes to just doing 1 thing on the computer. I get side tracked with blogs & fb & everything else. Before I know it, an hour has gone by and my kids have been sitting in front of the tv. I need to be more hands on, fun mom.

Lucky you, get to go to Florida soon. Jealous.

Everyone is like your #1. We all like comments. For some reason.. it keeps us going on some days.

The way I look at it.. as long as I am not neglecting my family.. or my house.. I can sit and read blogs. It's my outlet.. and FB is my morning or afternoon paper. It's good to see what's up with the people I care about daily. -- And I'm too ADD to sit here all day.. so it's really no problem. :)

Soo jealous about Florida...

# 1 is so cute. Here's a bone for you, now wag your tail!

We absolutely love having you all back down near us. I didn't realize how much we've been missing out with you so far away. It's been so good to be able to be part of the kid's lives - loved the Sacrament program and the Dance Review and everything else that comes with living close enough to participate (Sunday dinners - hooray)!

And thank you for the nudge to do the challenge. It's been fun! I especially love your take on each of the topics!

It is terrible how comment hungry we all get as bloggers. I like leaving you comments. Do you ever notice that some people never reciprocate? Or they only comment on your posts once in awhile but it is always right in sync with their own blog post for the month so you know they are just fishing for a reciprocal comment. You are a generous commenter so I am always happy to comment here, especially if it will keep you blogging more. Of course it always makes me wish we had all hung out more when we all lived in Utah.
