35

Happy Birthday to Me!
Thirty Five
Feels old but I still feel really young.
Should I feel old?
Or should I feel young?
Today marks the day I have officially out lived my mother.
I guess that's why I feel old-er.

Not a glamorous day.
Just a typical day for me.
I did plyometrics with Jen.
The neighbor kids showed up to play with my kids.
Maddy, Alli and I baked a cake (next time I need to watch closer how they grease the pan).
Babysat Makenna.
Jen took the kids sledding.
Lilly had an awesome 3 hour nap.
FB dings all day long from friends and family telling me happy birthday.
Phone calls from family.
Texts from friends and family wishing me a happy day.
Picked up pizza for my so called party.
Turns out it was a party for 6~everyone either had the flu or couldn't make it.
Either way, it's okay.
I'm here.
Surrounded by 5 that I love, that I adore and that blew out my candles for me!

 Good thing for do-overs!

Happy Birthday, again, Makinzee. I've said it before, but it must be said again, You make a very young 35. Your mother passed away too young for sure. I suspect she's living life through yours, though. Felt so bad we were unable to make it.

You had to babysit, for real? December seems to be the time that everyone gets sick. What is plyometrics? Sounds hard. You made your own cake? WOW!
