Dear Santa,

We missed our wards ( lame) Christmas party this year, only adults were invited and it was the first weekend we were back from Mexico. Bad timing for us and shouldn't the kids be invited to celebrate a kid holiday.

We were happy to join Grandma and Grandpa at their wards (awesome) Christmas party. We enjoyed breakfast and got to see Great G&G L, Grandma & Grandpa and our cousins along with Santa and Mrs Claus.

Breakfast started at 8 and we had a little drive, we didn't make it right on time and in the hustle out the door, I forgot the camera. BUT Grandma to the rescue, she had her camera. Thanks for the pictures Julie!

Here's our group!

Lexi was hesitant this yea of Santa and Mrs Claus. Mom has almost called Santa several times this December. Lexi sometimes has to be reminded to be good or Santa won't bring her presents.

Her list: a mermaid and a slide that goes whoosh, whoosh, whoosh strawberry shortcake, Brave, Tinkerbell, All the Care Bears, Winx Doll then she added a phone and a dream lite -unicorn. Along with her drawings. She is getting very good at writing her name but didn't want to sign it.
Dear Santa, how is the north pole. for christmas I want a big HEX bugs and a trash pack and a penguin dream lite and a do and discover. Love Jack.

In his letter, Mom encouraged him to talk to Santa and the one line that asked how the north pole was killing him!

He was first up out of our group to sit on Santa's lap. When writing his letter, Jack wanted everything. He had a hard time narrowing it down and I think still isn't really sure what exactly he wants for Christmas this year.
Maddy was next up. No tears this year.

Dear Santa, How are you? I'm good. For Christmas I would like a packeg of squinkies. Any kind of books (ones I have not read.) any art thing and color paper. any kind of game I am sure you now the ones I have. Lalaloopsy bitty button of bea. a dress, skirt, shirt and a bow or two. Love Maddy.
I love her humour when writing! Maddy is easy to shop for she herself loves to go shopping. Maybe next year, I can send her with a list and she can do all the shopping!

And just for kicks and giggles, here's our favorite Christmas video to remember.

I love Lily's outfit- she looks darling.
Maddy's letter to Santa is so sweet, she sounds so easy to please.
They were all cute letters.
Only 8 days to go, are you ready??

Adorable family. Thanks for posting the video, too. Wish we didn't have every single night this week filled up with one thing or the other. Miss doing Christmas things with everyone.

It sounds like your kids are being as vague as mine about what they want this year. I only have one who asked for something specific, well something specific that is actually real and within my price range. Cute pics and letters and I agree that kids belong at the party...our ward used to do an adults only one and a breakfast with Santa to cover both but now only do breakfast.
